During the press briefing as seen here Attorney Sunil Watagala at the 13:29 mark while showing a print out featuring a business card, mentions as Chathura Cabraal, Manager - Estate Management, the name of the company is Port City Colombo Pvt. Ltd. The claim was “port city is owned by Ajith Nivard Cabraal’s son” In the website of the company accessible via https://www.portcitycolombo.lk/ in its about section, it notes that CHEC Port City Colombo (Pvt) Ltd through China Harbour Engineering Company (CHEC) is part of China Communications Construction Company Limited (CCCC). Nowhere does the company mention that Chathura Cabraal has any ownership of CHEC Port City Colombo (Private) Limited.
