This report is Confirmed true
and is of
Low Priority.
Here is why -
The numerous social media posts claimed that the Kuragala archeological site was to be developed as a Buddhist heritage site. It has drawn the interest of the general public as the site home to a mosque and a Buddhist stupa was once embroiled in controversy after the mosque was accused of attempting to expand within the archeological site. The official of the NIBC confirmed that the photographs showing a road being renovated are authentic and does show the road leading to Kuragala being developed ahead of the March 28 program.
