This report is Confirmed false
and is of
Medium Priority.
Here is why -
As per an external fact check, the brand PRIMACOVID belongs to a company in Switzerland. The mobile number advertised with the post, as the person to contact if one needs to get these test kits delivered, belongs to Wasantha Samarasinghe, member of JVP. Media Secretary to the JVP has confirmed that this post is false. Mawbima Lanka Foundation which grants locally made brands the permission to use their Lion Logo has also confirmed that they have not approved the use of the Lion Logo for a locally made rapid antigen test. Update: People had countered the antigen test claim in the comments section. Now it seems that the originator has replaced the picture referring to the antigen test with another picture, which asks people to call one Dr. Jayatissa for free medical advice. The number advertised there belongs to Dr. Nalinda Jayatissa, member of JVP.
