Rosy Senanayake, the Mayor of Colombo, has not issued a statement like this recently. She had made a statement like that in May 2020, when the COVID-19 situation was under control in Sri Lanka. That old statement is being circulated now, presenting it as Rosy Senanayake's opinion of the current situation. Currently Sri Lanka reports close to 1000 new cases daily: https://hpb.health.gov.lk/covid19-dashboard/. Rosy Senanayake had also informed an external fact checker that she did not make such a statement recently.
