This report is Probably false
and is of
Medium Priority.
Here is why -
Several social media posts claimed that Ali Sabry, the Minister of Justice had gotten divorced from his first marriage easily through a Kathi Court, and got married to his current wife, the daughter of a prominent business person. Upon inquiry by an external fact checker, Minister Ali Sabry has refused this claim, stating that his first and only marriage is with his current wife, in 1999. As per the fact check, All Ceylon Jamiyyathul Ulama, the apex religious body of Islamic theologians in the country has mentioned that they are not aware of a previous marriage of Ali Sabry and also the fact checker has not been able find any media report which confirms the existence such previous marriage.
