Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa is not infected with the COVID-19 virus and neither has he been admitted to the ICU, and rumours of his critical health are false, Chief of Staff of the Prime Minister Yoshitha Rajapaksa told Daily Mirror."The Prime Minister is continuing his daily work and was at the COVID-19 Task Force today morning. I urge people not to circulate false reports especially at this critical time when the country should be focused on overcoming this pandemic," Yoshitha said. This was confirmed by multiple news agencies of Sri Lanka as well.
