Low Priority.
Here is why -
Devani Jayathilaka, Gampaha District Forest Officer had spoken to the media raising her concerns over the threat the construction of the proposed Colombo-Kandy Expressway poses for the safety of a Crudia zeylanica tree, a plant species previously assumed to be extinct. Several social media posts had claimed that she is facing a disciplinary inquiry following her statement to the media. She had mentioned with an external fact checker that she has not faced any disciplinary inquiry, nor she has been informed of one. However, she has been instructed to inform the Forest Department before she speaks to the media from now on.
