This report is Impossible to verify and is of Medium Priority. Here is why -
During a press conference, Pahiyangala Ananda Sagara thero, the Chairperson of Protect Sri Lanka National Movement stated that Islamic extremist factions are attempting to weaken the functioning of the State-owned Litro gas company. The Thero made these claims on the basis that the Litro Gas company imports LP gas from an Omani company and that the said Omani company has an agent company in Sri Lanka which is under the influence of Islamic extremist groups. However, the thero did not reveal the names of the parent Omani company or their agent in Sri Lanka, which makes further verification impossible.
